Welcome to the Early Years Podcast!

Yes, we’ve launched the Early Years Podcast!

We’ve been talking to people from across the early years sector who have something interesting, inspiring or challenging to share. We’ve already recorded some great shows and have some excellent guests lined up and we’re looking forward to what should be an interesting and informative adventure, with a side of fun too.

We’d love it if you joined us on our journey.

But who are you?

Me, I’m a marketer working in the early years field. You can find out all you need to know about me on Linked In or, better yet, say “hello” on twitter.

My co-host, Heather Stallard, is an experienced early years professional who is fond of helping children and the people who support them to develop. You’ll be able to find out more about Heather in the first episode of the podcast. If you just can’t wait, the following story should tell you all you need to know.

On the day of recording our first podcast, Heather forced herself out of bed after yet another 60-odd hour working week to drive to my house for a 7am start. Despite having every right to resent me for spoiling her only lay in, she arrived with a selection of pastries for my breakfast.

Go and connect with Heather on twitter and encourage her to use it more often because she’s the best.

“I like the sound of this, where can I sign up?”

Fill out the form at the bottom of this page and we’ll let you know when we’re doing what we’re doing or when we’ve done what we’ve done. You can also holler at us on twitter at @EYPodcast. We’d love to hear from you.

This post was belatedly updated on 22 July 2016 to reflect that podcast had actually launched. The content is the same but the tense has changed.
